On 19 July 2025, we were delighted to launch the UPLAYS - Supporting Ukraine's Youth in Latvia project by holding our first meeting with the children and young people who will become participants of this initiative.

In June, youth experts from Latvia, Austria and Slovakia met in Riga to discuss the UPLAYS project, which promotes the integration of young Ukrainians through sport, language learning and skills development. At the end of the visit, the participants visited Lidl Arena and got to know Latvian culture.

On 13-14 May 2025, we participated in the launch meeting of the ESF+ Social Innovation Programme in Warsaw. We gained new ideas and contacts for the development of the UPLAYS project.

UPLAYS is an international project supporting the integration of young Ukrainians in Austria, Latvia and Slovakia. It offers 50 sports activities, 50 language classes and 50 job skills workshops to promote skills, confidence and belonging.
